Estate Planning Specialists Rooted in the Texas Hill Country

We work with families, retirees, and landowners across Texas, with deep roots in the Hill Country communities we call home. Our office is at 229 N. Main Street in Boerne, and we run free workshops throughout the Texas Hill Country as the primary way families learn about estate planning and get their questions answered.

The estate planning specialists at ERC are also Hill Country financial advisors, so income, retirement, and estate decisions are reviewed together instead of handled by separate providers who never compare notes. Every client works directly with a Legacy Planning Specialist in person, from the first conversation through your completed plan, and we don't consider a plan finished until every loose end is resolved.

You won't be asked to fill out any paperwork before your first appointment, and there is no pressure to move forward before you know exactly what your plan would include.

Attorney-Drafted Quality

ERC's estate planning document packages are produced through Simple Estate Docs, a platform built on attorney-drafted templates that are legally valid in Texas. These are not DIY forms. The documents our clients receive carry the same legal structure you would get from an attorney's office, delivered through an in-person process that includes plain-language explanation and ongoing support after signing.

ERC does not practice law and does not provide legal advice. What our Legacy Planning Specialists provide is everything around the documents: reviewing your situation, working through your planning decisions, coordinating trust funding, handling re-deeding of real property, and maintaining your plan through lifetime updates. That complete set of steps is what many law firms and document platforms leave to the client to figure out on their own.

The Specialists Behind Every ERC Estate Plan

A Simple, Structured Approach

A Complete Estate Plan in Five Steps

Step 1:

Attend a Free Community Workshop

Most ERC clients start here. Our free Hill Country workshops cover the five estate planning decisions, the difference between a will and a trust, how probate works in Texas, and what a complete funded estate plan includes. There is no obligation and no sales pitch. Workshop dates and locations are posted on our blog.

Step 2:

Schedule Your Clarity Session

Your Clarity Session is a no-obligation, in-person appointment at our Boerne office. We review your family situation, your property, and your goals. You receive a tour of the document creation portal. This is where the conversation starts, and you will received guidance throughout the entire journey.

Step 3:

Design Your Estate Plan

If you choose to move forward, your Legacy Planning Specialist works with you to finalize your plan structure: who manages your affairs, who inherits, how your real property is handled, and how medical and financial authority is assigned. Every choice reflects your specific family and situation.

Step 4:

Execute Your Documents

Your attorney-drafted document package is prepared through Simple Estate Docs, reviewed with you in person, and signed. This includes your revocable living trust, last will and testament, financial and medical powers of attorney, living will, advanced medical directive, and supporting directives.

Step 5:

Fund Your Trust and Re-Deed Real Property

Signing documents is not the finish line. It is the beginning of the step most estate plans never complete. We coach to help coordinate the transfer of your assets and real property into the trust, discuss and facilitate the re-deeding process, and set you up with an online document vault and funding kit. Lifetime updates and unlimited restatements are included.
